A few Christmas/New Year's memories:

I went upstairs to get ready one morning at my mom's house. When I started to come down, I saw these two cuties waiting for me at the bottom of the stairs. This was one of the few times they weren't trying to tear down the gate and climb up. (Excuse the blurriness, my phone's camera has a horrible zoom)

I made them this playhouse for Christmas. The felt flowers in the flowerbox are from the aunt in Nepal! I put them in foam so that they can take them in and out. (They haven't actually put them in the box yet, they love taking them out though.) Inside, they have lights they can turn on and off. It sometimes looks like a disco inside they like playing with the lights so much.

My little climbers...they figured out if they pulled the pillow out of the chair, they could use it as a stair to climb into the chair. Penelope was wearing a tutu, since it was New Year's Eve.
The big huge developement? Penelope and Micah have taken off walking! They went from a few steps every now and then, to walking almost all the time. Life is getting a lot busier.
Other highlights:
Playing tons with their cousins.
Watching them interact with my grandma.
Micah discovering how to turn the Christmas tree lights on.

Penelope loving the child-size rocking chair that was my mother's and then mine.
Micah calling my mom's cat..."Louis" is probably the first word that everyone can understand him saying. Louis wasn't very interested in coming down to play.

Celebrating Christmas a few days late with my dad and Deborah...all the snow delayed our original get together.
Penelope feeding Pravin at dinner one night. She fed him food off her tray and say "MMMMMMM!" If he ate it, she would clap for him.

Pulling them around my mom's living room in the sled she gave them. When we took them out in the snow, Micah decided he was not a fan of being cold.
Watching Micah give Penelope a ride on my grandma's walker.

My mom and I singing "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes" 1000 times with the singing bear. (Micah is giving him a hug here)

Watching them clean out my mom's tupperware cabinet.
